A recent case in point is the work it has done with Children’s Hospital Boston (CHB), a longtime performance contracting customer of Ameresco who recently implemented xChangePoint. Under a performance contract CHB implemented various lighting improvements, thermal and water savings initiatives, and energy efficient motors and drives throughout their facilities, saving them 5.5 million kWh, 12 million gallons of water, and 17,000 MMBTUs annually, or approximately $950,000 per year. While that is a great success story, CHB wanted to see if more could be achieved.

so they implemented xChangePoint to analyze their real time usage patterns. Within 6 months Ameresco had identified over $400,000 per year in additional savings opportunities which are now being implemented.
